A coworker found this in his yard. Already dead, but we think it might be faking. Its a bug, but it looks kind of like a fetus and kind of like evil. Its huge too, look how it dwarfs the quarter. The pictures are small so you don't have to look at it too closely.
Don't worry, he's just a Jerusalem cricket, fairly common on the west coast. He won't eat the children, although he does have strong jaws and can defend himself with a painful bite if necessary. But he's not venomous or dangerous. Those legs are for digging, and he's primarily nocturnal. He's not evil, I promise!

I never knew I lived in a world where I'd have to fear one of these big guys taking a stroll across the ceiling and losing his grip, and then falling right onto my neck and the stress and shock just prompts a big chomp! and then I get infected with evil and and...I think I'm going to go breathe in a bag now and then lie down with a bug net over me.
